“Let the children be free; encourage them; let them run outside when it is raining; let them remove their shoes when they find a puddle of water; and when the grass of the meadows is wet with dew, let them run on it and trample it with their bare feet; let them rest peacefully when a tree invites them to sleep beneath its shade; let them shout and laugh when the sun wakes them in the morning.”” - Maria Montessori

Imagine a place where learning is joyful, an environment where creativity is cherished and creation inevitable.  A space where the lines of indoors and outdoors are blurred and the mood of the day is dictated by the sun herself.  Nest Montessori is a school where childhood is protected from the rush of the rat race in the outer world.  A place that is purposefully simple and where time is purposefully slow.

“The instructions of the teacher consist then merely in a hint, a touch—enough to give a start to the child. The rest develops of itself.” —Dr. Montessori’s Own Handbook
